Posting Summary: The University of Virginia Cavalier Computers department seeks a Administrative Sales Consultant to provide administrative and customer support for the Business Division of Cavalier Computers. The employee will meet with UVa departmental customers, place orders in a timely manner and effectively resolve any issues that may arise. Responsible for the assisting the Departmental Director with purchasing of merchandise for resale, negotiations with vendors, and inventory management.
Required Minimum Level of Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Preferred Minimum Level of Education: *Degree or Equivalent Experience Preferred
Required Minimum Level of Experience: Some - up to 4 years
Required Specific Experience: Sales or Administrative experience.

Preferred Specific Experience: Knowledge in retail sales or computer technology environment
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience in customer service. Experience in computer database applications. Must have strong communication skills. Must be highly organized and able to multi-task. Must be able to handle detailed oriented tasks accurately. Knowledge of computer or technology based items.
